Youth Tour is a week-long, all-expense-paid trip to Washington D.C.  Four high school juniors from CKEC’s service area will receive an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. as winners of the Youth Tour Contest.

The students will spend the week touring the museums and visiting all of the historical monuments. In addition to visiting the museums and monuments, the Oklahoma winners have the opportunity to tour Mount Vernon, The U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, Ford’s Theatre, enjoy a riverboat cruise on the Potomac River, and also spend time with winners from other states at NRECA’s Youth Day.

Included with their trip to Washington, D.C., the four students sponsored by CKEC will receive a $500 scholarship that is valid at any Oklahoma college, university, or technical college.
