Notice to Bidders
CKenergy Electric Cooperative, Inc. is soliciting interested electric utility contractors for an overhead power line project located in Dewey County Oklahoma. Contract services include pole replacement of damaged poles from wildfire and retirement of those damages poles. This project consists of replacing approximately 275 35 ft. and 40 ft. highline poles. This project will be for labor and equipment only. All material will be provided.
Bids will be open from Aug. 7th, 2018 to close of business on September 4th, 2018.
CKenergy requires all contractors to provide proof of insurance in the following limits:
- Workers Compensation and Employers Liability - $1,000,000 for each occurrence.
- Commercial General Liability - $1,000,000, per occurrence, combined single limits, applicable to claims due to bodily injury and/or property damage.
- Automobile Liability - $1,000,000, per occurrence, combined single limits, applicable to claims due to bodily injury and/or property damage.
Contractors shall name CKenergy Electric Cooperative, Inc. as an Additional Insured to the extent of the services provided under the Contract.
A complete bid packet will include: company bio page (name, contact information, location, years of service, etc.) proof of insurance, references, copy of company’s unit prices, and your bid with a TOTAL price.
Labor units are based on the RUS Specifications and Drawings for 24.9/14.4 kV Line Construction. (RUS Bulletin 1728F-803 D-803) Bid proposals must follow this format.
